The sushi here is incredibly fresh and flavorful, rivaling even the best spots in Malibu, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable given the quality. Julio, who lived in Japan for over a decade, brings genuine expertise and care to every dish, making each bite a real treat. The friendly atmosphere, generous portions, and standout dishes like the volcano roll and beef teriyaki keep me coming back time and again, even if parking can be a bit tricky.

If you're in the mood for fresh sushi without breaking the bank, this local spot is a must-try. The owner, Julio, brings over a decade of experience from Japan, and it really shines through in the quality of the food. My favorite has to be the volcano roll; the flavors are incredible and the portions generous, making the drive totally worth it every time.
