The salmon barbecue during the Tulip Festival in Mount Vernon is seriously one of the best meals you can get, with perfectly grilled wild king and silver salmon, tasty sides, and a great vibe thanks to the friendly Kiwanis volunteers. It's super casual-you pay when you arrive, grab your food at the window, and can chill with your dog while enjoying a delicious lunch that supports a great cause, all for a really reasonable price.

Hey there! If you're looking for a laid-back dining experience, I'd suggest checking out the rustic lodge with the large banquet tables. The food is good, though the portions are on the smaller side, but the friendly staff make up for it. Plus, you can even bring your furry friend along to enjoy the meal with you. It's a great spot for a casual and relaxed meal experience. And if you happen to be in Mount Vernon during the tulip festival in April, don't miss out on the amazing salmon barbecue put on by the Kiwanis. For a reasonable price, you get a delicious meal with all the fixings, and you can even support a good cause while you're at it. It's definitely one of the best dining options around during the festival.
