I've been frequenting this quirky little joint for years, and while it might not win any beauty contests and the service can be slower than molasses, their empanadas are worth every agonizing minute of the wait. With a mouthwatering menu that includes everything from perfect pupusas to delicious corn tamales, I always leave with a belly full of authentic Central American goodness for just $11-who knew such treasures could be found in a place that looks like it was decorated by a blindfolded raccoon?
