El Tio in the Toledo Bend area stands out as a top Mexican eatery worth a visit. While El Patio garners much attention in Toledo town, El Tio offers a warm salsa and quick, delicious meals that rival any other spot in the area. Despite occasional busyness, the efficient service and delectable dishes make El Tio a must-try for Tex-Mex enthusiasts.

I think their food is extremely bland. Have ordered beef enchiladas 3 times. First one was good, next 2 were pitiful. They have left something off of to go orders. Once they left the queso off the enchiladas, once the Pico. First time the refried were scorched. I give up. I love Mexican food, but these guys can't get it right. And they aren't cheap.

Great down to earth Tex-Mex. A lot of food for the $$. I Highly recommend
