From the moment I tried the "Aloha Dog," I was hooked by the perfect blend of smoky bacon and sweet pineapple that created an unforgettable flavor experience. Each visit offers exciting choices, from spicy to savory, all served with fresh buns and friendly, attentive service that makes every meal enjoyable. Despite limited seating, the quick, welcoming atmosphere and generous portions make it an ideal stop whenever I'm in Hilo.

Quaint, cute little shop. The all-beef hot dog with spicy mustard & sauerkraut was yummy delicious as well as the kalua pork nachos! Wonderful staff.The young lady who took my order was friendly & efficient & although there were several ppl ahead of me with their orders, everyone got their food in a pretty quick timely manner. Presentation of food was neat & appetizing. Overall, I was very impressed. Thank you Saucy Dog! Kudos to you! Definitely worthwhile in supporting local small businesses like you!
