I went there a few times a few years ago and was not Impressed .
I Am all authentic Latina so not any Mexican food will make my mouth water Lol.
Just a few weeks ago a coworker told me that they had 2 for 1 Margaritas and that they were the best .
I decided to go try them out once again . This time I am not sure if they have another cook but they're food has been Amazing . I have eaten there at least 3 times a week and it is so Delicious. El Jacal is now my Favorite Place !!

Cold food bad service

read the signs,
1st is it is a ghost town inside the jacal.
2nd is the chips, some stale(old), some have a leather texture(grease not cooked out) while the others were burnt(over cooked).
The green salsa was not bad and it was dinner time and I had not eatin',
so I ate the chips but should have seen it as a sign of the bad food to come.
I ordered a overly expensive carnitas burrito, THE PORK WAS A COLD MUSHY MESS and a health hazard.
My wife ordered CRISPY chili rellenos, and got a SOFT EGGY MESS.
we tried to make the best of it with the bean and rice sides, but those also tasted very bad.
Besides the chips and sodas, we had three bites each of our meal, one the entree, and two the sides.

We asked for our bill and if they could work with us o splitting it as it was obvious we didnt eat it,
the waitress said she was not a manager and there was not one present???

avoid the jacal and get a frozen entree from your supermarket, far cheaper and better.
