Stumbled upon a tiny ice cream shop with about fifteen flavors of homemade ice cream and over twenty paletas that taste like they came straight from Michoacan-think passion fruit, guava, and even blue tequila! The staff was super friendly behind their masks and plexiglass, and the prices were shockingly reasonable, with small cones just $3 and refreshing fruit pops bursting with real chunks of fruit. If you're into trying something wild, pineapple with chile is a sweet-and-spicy combo that totally works, and honestly, the whole experience made me consider sneaking back for seconds (or thirds) despite my best calorie-counting efforts!
