The food at Mar-Cosina is really delicious, especially the Westlake tacos and chicken tacos Al carbon. The staff is super helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere is just great. It's become one of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat.

I don't see how anyone could a less than stellar review of Mar Cosina. I live nearby and eat there regularly. The people that work there are really nice - it's not a chain - and the food is always good. You can have a drink or a beer at the bar & watch a game and eat in that area (I always do) or you can go into the dining room for a more formal experience.
Since the Corona shutdown I've ordered to go food there three or four times and it's been great. Personally, I'm thankful to have a nice place like this nearby. Kind of like having that neighborhood "watering-hole," Mar Cosina is owned by someone who is really trying & I hope they continue to do well post Corona. Try them. It's not over the top, just real nice with good, good food. Tortilla Soup is killer!
