Joanie's in Long Grove is where I go when I want that perfect Detroit-style pizza with a crispy, caramelized crust and just the right sauce-to-cheese ratio. Their broasted chicken is seriously crispy and juicy without feeling greasy, and the chocolate chip pan cookie with ice cream on birthdays is such a sweet treat. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with great outdoor seating by the pond, and the staff, especially Tina and Isabella, always make the experience even better.

Waiting to watch the Cubs tonight!
Ordered a Village Pizza. My husband went to pick it up in the heavy traffic on Old McHrnry Rd.
He gets home & they have a veggie pizza instead of the village. So we reorder & hemgoes out again.
This time the village pizza had about 1to 2 pieces of sausage on each piece! Called back again & kept getting a recording. Finally asked to speak with manager-she wasn't available! I guess it's back to Di Piero's & Lou Malnati's! Always
outstanding for the last 38 years! Very disappointed!!!
