The friendly staff at Nielsen's always makes my visits enjoyable, and I live for the 50s vibes that give it a nostalgic feel. While the food can be hit or miss, the frozen custard is a true highlight that keeps me coming back for more.

We wait for ever for our grinders. We order all the same, yet each one was different the meat was not put on the same. The buns where like a day old. The fries were all over cooked. Doesn't anyone train these kids. They just seemed to do it any way they can. No cares
No one has any pride in what they make
Just get it done and put to the door. Our was not a good order. We spent a lot of money for 4 sandwiches and fries and then get home and find out we have crap. Not happy.

When ever we come to town my whole family begs to go to this place (mainly because our memories from the St George location) but when we got here we waited in line for nearly 30 minutes before being asked for our order. Upon ordering, the girl taking orders was very snippy and rude and began yelling at me. She then argued with me over what their menu said (and I was reading the menu from their board as I ordered).

Also, I miss having family friendly shops. The teenagers working here seemed more interested in flirting with one another and checking each other out than they did in showing any sort of work ethic or professionalism. (Not to mention I felt like I needed to refinance my house after buying custard for my whole family... almost $40 for 6 tiny little cups of ice cream)

We won't be back to this location again and either will my family that lives in the area.

Good Custard. Very bad customer service and ZERO customer care.

We love Nielsen's St George and when we came to this new one in South Jordan, it was good BUT you don't use the same chocolate syrup as the original Nielsen's in St George and Bountiful, still owned by the original owners. Yours isn't nearly as good in your Concretes as the ones they make in the original locations but we still enjoyed it. Please consider changing to the original syrup. Thank you.

I usually love this place, but my experience tonight was just frustrating. I pulled up to the drive-thru and ordered a concrete with peanut butter and cookie dough, it's my favorite. When I got to the window, I was given a concrete with just peanut butter. I parked my car and went inside to get it corrected. The staff offered to fix it, but when he came back, it was just another peanut butter concrete with a little bit of fudge mixed in. Not once did I ask for fudge. How hard is it to follow directions? I've never had this kind of a mix up at your location before, so I'm guessing this is a staffing issue. Please improve your training and coaching of you staff.
