During my visit to Chez Helen in Madawaska, ME, I enjoyed a perfectly cooked breakfast of over-easy eggs, extra crispy bacon, home fries with onions, and toast with coffee, while my husband, a fifth-generation potato farmer, appreciated his fish but found the French fries could have been crispier, and throughout our meal, the exceptionally friendly waitress provided attentive service in a clean, family-oriented atmosphere with reasonable prices and a warm, homey decor.

Recently, I tried a new restaurant called Chez Helen in Madawaska, Me., and I was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast menu offered a variety of options, and I enjoyed a delicious meal of eggs, crispy bacon, home fries with onions, and coffee. The interior was clean, the service was exceptional, and the overall atmosphere was family-friendly and comfortable.
