Arriving just before closing, I missed some favorites like the mac and cheese and yams, but the shrimp, catfish, and spaghetti I did have were bursting with fresh, flavorful soul food goodness. After nearly four decades of returning here-since the days when the original owner lovingly cooked every dish-the consistently perfectly fried seafood and warm, attentive service keep me coming back time and again.

I visited recently and was impressed by the freshly made shrimp, catfish, and spaghetti, all bursting with flavor. The portions were generous, making it easy to enjoy leftovers the next day, and the service was exceptional. After 38 years of dining here, it's clear that the quality of food and the friendly atmosphere keep me coming back for more.
