The local restaurant I visited had good food and a pleasant atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the chicken wings and Henniker Brewing Hop Slinger. The service provided by Haleigh on the Marine Corps birthday was exceptional, adding to the overall positive experience. It's advisable to make reservations in advance to avoid long wait times, especially on busy evenings.

I went with a party of six for a gentleman's b day on 3/21/15. They arrived 15 min before our due time. When I got there they all had drinks, 10 min later (no problem, they were busy) the waitress came and asked me for my drink order. 20 min later she came and asked if anyone wanted a 2nd drink...I told her I was still waiting for my 1st drink. She replied "oh yeah, I forgot to put that in." We then ordered apps our meal and asked for more bread, since they all ate most of it before I got there. The bread came with our apps...within 15 min our meals arrived. None of them were hot (including the fish orders) they were room temperature. When ordering I had asked if the prime rib was fatty. She said no, it was a very good cut. I ordered the queen cut ($24.95) the b day man ordered king cut ($28.95) and my piece came and both ends were big chunks of fat. We started to eat and they both were tough and grisly. We complained and the waitress said she'd take 50% off our main meal. My bill came and she only deducted $10.00 But I did get a free dessert. I felt bad because I convinced these people to go because they use to have very good prime rib at CS and the man wanted a "good" prime rib for his b day. I called the owner (2x) to tell him that his choice of cut that night was not very good. HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALL!!!!! BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!! This is the 2nd time I've had a bad meal....since he didn't have the descency to call me back, I will never go again!!!! Bad business practice, he obviously doesn't care if a customer has a bad experience! Patrons beware!!!!
