The mac and cheese at this place is seriously legit, especially with the kick of jalapeño. The salads are fresh and you can add on some tasty extras. Prices won't break the bank and the food is worth every penny. The variety of pasta dishes will leave you wanting more, and the friendly staff only add to the great experience.

Anyone with celiac disease knows it is a struggle to find any restaurant that is truly savvy about and understanding of the needs of those for whom gluten is toxic. That's why finding Grandpa Mac was a joy. Most of us who are limited to gluten-free meals know how lackluster they can be, but Grandpa Mac was not only highly sensitive to the demands of celiac folks -- with a kitchen that is truly dedicated to keeping gluten-filled foods separate from the gluten free and a staff that's aware of the dangers of cross contamination -- the food is actually EXCELLENT. My gf pasta was cooked perfectly, and so was my husband's "regular" pasta. He found the sauce to be superlative, saying if he could purchase their sauce off the shelf, he would. My pasta, which was topped with blue crab, cheese, scallions and corn was really flavorful. The salad with blue cheese dressing was also great. Highly recommend!

My grandchildren always beg to go when they are visiting. Been there many times. Food is awesome. Service is the best.
