I have visited this Stiles Rd. Salem NH store 3-4 times per week over the last few years and have always been satisfied with the service and products. This came to an end today. Two days ago, I ordered two orders of omelet bites and a coffee. When I arrived at my office I noticed that there was only one order of omelet bites in my bag. Rather than pack up and head back to DD, I decided to just wait until my next visit to address the mistake. When I arrived today I explained the situation to a gentlemen out front and he replied that there was nothing that he could do because too much time had passed. I guess I didn't know that there was a time limit to resolve their mistake but obviously two days is too long. I continued to be polite and expressed my disappointment then he went out back to speak with someone. After several long minutes he came back out and said that there was still nothing he could do. When I started to rationalize the situation, he just walked away. The person he spoke with didn't even come and speak with me. I really just figured that when I walked in it would be as easy as mentioning the mistake, them apologizing, and handing me the omelet bites that I paid for but did not receive. All would have been good. Everyone makes mistakes but its how you handle them that makes it right. This store chose to play hard ball and now I am choosing to use another store that is just as convenient for me. The person hiding in the back who handled this situation needs a strong lesson in customer service. This is obviously the case based on the other awful reviews this store has received. I am very disappointed.
