The carne asada and al pastor tacos from Tacos El Gordo in Oakland blew me away with their juicy, flavorful meat and perfectly balanced seasonings, especially the hint of pineapple in the al pastor that added an exciting twist. Despite the busy atmosphere and a bit of a wait, the fast, friendly service and fresh, vibrant salsas made the whole experience worth it, satisfying my late-night cravings like nothing else.
