Oh no! This place was on the up-&-up but they have lost the brew master, the chef, all the good bartenders, and it shows. Was hoping this place would be my new "spot", just down the road from my house, cool ambiance. Gave them a few more tries after I heard of the personnel changes, alas it was not worth it. Burger- gross, fish and chips- inedible, beer cheese- water thin, mac n cheese- child portion. What happened? Also, the owner should stick to getting hammered at the bar and stay out from behind the bar. I should not have to ask for more beer and less foam.

We almost didn't go in and wish we followed our instincts. 2 tables were occupied & 1 person was at the bar. We had 2 hefeweizens that could have been colder and 1 order of pretzels. The hefeweizen is not a standard cloudy hefeweizen and the three overpriced $8.00 pretzels were premade and had no salt. They looked like bread sticks dipped in oil. The beer cheese sauce was really runny so I didn't even try it. We decided not to order dinner based on the appetizer. We were there over an hour and beyond ready to go. The brand new bartender was overwhelmed & the owner was in the back sleeping instead of helping her. When he finally came out to void a transaction he lost my credit card. He said it wasn't lost because it was around there somewhere. Then he blamed it on the bartender. I called him out on being the OWNER blaming the new girl and he went off. We just wanted to go home. He followed us out of the restaurant! He called some guy out of the bar to follow us too. Any owner who charges a customer the wrong amount and loses their credit card apologizes. Here you are yelled at & followed down the street. The owner is known for being a total nightmare. Seriously. We tried to give it a chance anyway. Big mistake. I don't know how this place is still open. KC has a bunch of great beer establishments but this isn't one.
