My experience with Checkers differs from the other review posted here, as I have spent nearly 30 years working in hospitals. It's important to note that Checkers is not a dining destination but rather a convenient option for those visiting patients, working in the hospital, or with limited lunch options on site. Hospital food is typically more plain compared to Checkers, and during my time on campus, I found it to be above average, with the 'Spotlight' entree being a standout choice. Despite potential wait times of around 10 minutes for freshly prepared dishes like the 'Spotlight' or items from the grill, this is reasonable during peak meal hours in a busy hospital setting.
