Living in Traverse City, I can say the seafood chowder and French onion soup here are some of the best around, and the lobster mac and cheese really steals the show. The deck overlooking the water offers a beautiful view, especially in the evening with the string lights, and the staff like Joe at the bar and servers like Sam and Bailey always make the experience enjoyable.

$177 total bill including a blood rare steak that was supposed to be medium. Was told the kitchen was closed so I couldn't do anything about it, and then when my wife complained at the end we were told because we dealt with it ;Which my seven-year-old daughter was raised that way; we were stuck with a problem. Just don't deal with these type of people and move on. Find a place that has good people and good food. that is my advice.
