While exploring a dark and dingy convenience store, my friend and I were greeted by a voice behind the counter that playfully remarked, "Y'all ain't from around heah. Y'all ah from up nawth?" This moment became one of my favorites, and from that unassuming spot emerged one of the best subs I've ever tasted. It may seem easy to overlook, but stepping inside and trying a sub will surely change your perspective on the Southern Jersey way of life.
