Colonial diner is just as good as some five star restaurants! In fact I prefer it over some fancy restaurants! Best vegan chili and the best pot pie I ever had. Also very good stuffed flounder!

Had a delicious vegan breakfast sandwich with crispy potatoes. Love that they have an extensive vegan menu. The service was excellent!
Will definitely make the long drive again!

Came in today for lunch, it was busy. Wkimaited for ever for a waiter/ waitress , finally go a male waiter then took for ever to get our drinks. We ordered out food incluiding salads waited for ever for our salads that never came he brought out our food said omg i forgot your salads. Then at the end we had to ask for our deserts that come with the meal... very very disappointed

My sister and I. Had dinner on Saturday 4/30 it was great we both got the fried seafood combo the portions were large I asked.for the stuffed. flower instead and they did I was. Willing to pay the. Extra.money the. Food was great our server was Courtney. As he was really great very attentive without being pushy very friendly this was my first visit.we live in. Bridgeton and it. Was well worth the drive. hoping. when we go again we. Get. Courtney. Was great very good experience great food great Service !!!!!!!

Chef George is awesome here and the menu has really improved a lot. Salmon that I had must have fell from heaven.

Worst diner ever. Serve was lousy, food just as bad. Place has the same old decor as before, torn seats. Place is just nasty.

Eat out often ,travel alot . excellent food & service priced right more food than i could finish will make it my stop whenever in the area

Wonderfully place would go there again and do go often love the mini meals yes service is a little slow and sales totals not always correct but food is yummy and affordable

My last visit was HORRIBLE! Our server emerged from the bathroom to inform us he was having stomach issues and proceeds to ask what we would like to order!!! If your servers are sick they should NOT be handling food!!!! After posting this issue to facebook a ton of friends commented they have stopped eating there because it is dirty!!!!! I will not be returning EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

The waitresses all stand in the center and talk to each other, which is pretty annoying. Not to mention unprofessional! I doubt the cleanliness/freshness of their food. No matter who I go there with, what I order, etc...everybody immediately gets the runs. I also found it offensive that one of the busboys made a joke to a waitress about the Chinese. I don't marvelous food from a diner, but the pasta was chewy and my soup looked more at home in an outhouse than in a bowl.

I ate at the Colonial diner a few times when I was in high school, not that long ago. It was an okay diner with okay food. But at my last visit, there was a pubic hair on my dish. So no thank you, I'm never returning here. That is utterly disgusting. Eat here at your own risk.

to whom it may concern,my daughter and I had dinner at your diner today around 5:30pm.i did not get the waitress's name,however she was rude.did not inform me that the dinner i ordered came with mashed potoes,she let me order them as my veg..she di not ask to refill our drinks,she did not ask if we wanted dessert or did not tell us our meal came with one.did not ask if we wanted whipped gream on our pudding,after i had to say can i get rice pudding as my dessert.hestated when we asked for a box for leftovers.then when we got to the cashier,she was even more rude.she did not ask how was everything?then litterally threw my coins of change in my hand,,i was appalled.this had to have been the worst srvice i have ever recieved at a bussiness.i will make sure everyone knows about it.the woman was a little heavyset with a long dark ponytail.needless to say we did not leave a tip nor will we be back anytime soon.

Always good food, hefty portions, prompt and pleasant service, delicious desserts.
