When my wife asked about my favorite childhood eatery that's no longer around, King Cole instantly popped into my head. Back in the day, my family would swing by there on our way to or from Lake Wallenpaupack during summer trips. The steamed hot dog buns and the chili dogs were absolutely unbeatable. It's a bummer they shut down years back, maybe around 2003, but if they ever made a comeback with the same menu, I'd definitely go out of my way for a taste, even though I now reside in NC.
