We visited the restaurant on July 5 for a 5PM dinner. However they never knew were celebrating our First Wedding Anniversary. We had the place all too ourselves. It seems they were packed from the Fourth Of July Hudson River Celebration the night before. Other couples did not join us until 7PM. The restaurant was so happy to have customers that we received complimentary dishes from the chief during our appetizers. My wife chose to go with the chief chicken special. Which she claimed was fantastic. I had the salmon with was wonderful. Then topped the dinner off with the richest desert we have eaten in a while. The waiters then surprised us again with their after dinner drink cart at no additional cost. Before we knew it two hours few by without even noticing. As Brooklynites, we normally stay close to home or splurge and get caught up in the tourist crowd in Little Italy. A restaurant like this gives us cause to branch out more. No idea however why this website lists them at Three Dollar Signs. If it was not for all the wine we bought our meal would have been very inexpensive. I highly recommend this restaurant to all how read the reviews. Just wish they would refresh their awning. We almost passed the place by because their names is only written on the corner of the awning. Glade we never told them it was our Anniversary. If we ate anymore food the waiters would have had to roll us out the door.
