Unacceptable Service by Management/Employees
We called and put in an order at 6 PM. We were told 40 minutes. No problem!! Well, we were still waiting after an hour and 20 minutes late and 3 phone calls later, and they did not even seem sympathetic at all to the situation!!!! One of the calls the girl answering the phone was totally obnoxious and hung up on me. Another call she gave the phone to the manager saying I was yelling and cursing, which was NOT true. When I finally spoke to the manager his attitude was very similar to that of the girl. No apology, No mention of a credit until I said something. He said he would credit me next time... Are you crazy - there will be NO next time. I then told them if the order was not here in 10 minutes -they could keep it and not to charge my card!!! Well, it came in 8 minutes and guess what? You got it - they shorted me a calzone!!! I had ordered 2 w/ ham and pepperoni and extra mozzarella. I again called to issue the complaint and the girl told me we only ordered one. Well, then why did it say right on the receipt, "ham and pepperoni and extra mozzarella on BOTH CALZONES"??? Ummm... I could be wrong, but BOTH usually means 2!!! I do have a copy if the proper management would like to see it. I literally had to demand them to bring out the second calzone. I truly feel very sorry for the delivery guy who they had sent to BELVIDERE, before coming to Washington. He was extremely nice and very apologetic. The manager and women answering the phones should take some lessons from him. They receive TURKEY awards, and the delivery kid should go work for someone else who appreciates him!!!

Pizzas was under cooked and soggy. Also I was charged 32.00 for football special instead of 22.00. Paid cash.
My mistake for not double checking! Will never get food from there again!!

lived in washington nj for 8 years..do not drive..first time ordering from sal's pizza...italian sub for hubby...he could not finish...cheesesteak for me...meat smelled rancid...hope i don't get food poisioning...fries ice cold...bad grease...poor phone service...never ever again...dogs won't even eat it

I have had steak sandwiches at 5 local restaurants, including Stewarts. Sals is the best.The roll was perfect,and the meat was tender.

I used to eat Sal's food all the time but as of late it seems like the quality of the food has reduced significantly. Pizza is pretty good though so I'd recommend that, however be warned. When you order for delivery @ Sal's you will either a. Wait for your food for a long time but enjoy it when it finally does or b. Get your food real quick and not enjoy the quality of it at all.

If you wanna good cheesesteak on bread that's not soggy as hell... don't go to Sal's. Go to Diccollas right down the road.

I have been ordering from Sal's for years and will always continue to. They have delicious food and a fast delivery service. Extremely recommended!

Food is great. I used to order there a lot until it took them 1 hr 45 to deliver one pizza and I only live a few minutes away! Poor delivery service but great tasting food.
