I have not been there in a while but, the BIg K is essential and just such an important piece of the fabric that makes Frelinghysen one of the best kept secrets in all of N.J.. It is in this technology driven world a time machiene. This is not 7-11 or Wawa. The Big k is a piece of America that very few have ever seen or experienced. It is America. They used to and probably still do have prime rib available for take out, every Friday night. But you have to be someone they recognize to order it cause you need to get your order in by like 1 or 2 at the latest on Friday afternoon
Or you missed out. They have everything you need to survive in such a rural area including liquor. I love the BIg K. And so does anyone who lives or has lived in Frelighysen.
