everything about benoit's was more than satisfactory. the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the food, as most of them were native french or canadian. this element made the experience of benoit's extra nice, to match the effort and friendliness exuded by the morning employees. i loved the french pastries, of course, but it was the staff that made me want to return.

This is one of the best patisseries in New York! I get coffee and croissant there most mornings and the staff are so friendly and always have a smile for you. The food is delightful. A little slice of France on Lexington.
