My wife and I started to stop in here once and a while after we moved to the area. I agree that the atmosphere is cozy, and the food is usually pretty good. I am however disappointed in the customer service. The owner is off and on with me and I can never tell if he's having a bad day, or a really bad day. This place would be excellent if it seemed like they were happy to have my business. Instead, I feel like I'm putting them out. . . Weird.

While out on a yard sale run stopped in for a quick bite and directions. I must agree with the guy from Pa. Got better directions from a patron leaving who also told me owner only likes his regular customers. Glad they want to keep him in business I won't.

WE went to the General Store in Allamuchy and had the complete opposite experience. It was Quaint inside and out the owner?? couldn't have been more accommodating, the food was excellent and maybe because we are from New Jersey we thought the prices were reasonable. WE Will be back again when we are in the area

My wife and I stopped by one day on our bike. Looked like it would be nice on the outside. Quaint inside.
We like to ride and eat at out of the way non mainstream locations. Boy were we
really disappointed, in the attitude of our server (owner) and the food presentation. I guess this is how NYr's like to treat people. Pricey too. We rode over 60+ miles JUST to come here. We'll just ride by next time. Sorry.
