We started oredering lunch from Barones over a year ago. At first the food was phenomenal but it the last 6 minutes the quality has gone severely downhill. Anything made with vegetables tastes watered down. i've only seen that happen with frozen veggies. It makes the pizza crust soggy and if you cut into a calzone water pours out. Then do not use fresh garlic, its always from a jar, and how do you have a hawaiin pie but not have pineapple to put as a topping on another pie? I decided today, after wasting 14 dollars on pasta and frozen broccoli and a tip for the stupidest delivery guy ever, that I AM NEVER ORDERING FROM BARONES AGAIN! (ripping up the menu now...)

We have eaten here many times over the years and the food is consistently exceptional. Plenty of choices on a varied menu. Service is also excellent, waiters are just the right combination of pleasant and attentive. Prices are in line with similar establishments. BYOB allows additional value. Would have rated the atmosphere as a 10 if not for the entertainment - when it's there (Wednesdays?) it is too loud to allow comfortable conversation for hearing challenged people like us. Otherwise, this establishment is always spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. One of our all time favorites and we would not hesitate to whole-heartedly recommend Barones for a superb dining experience.
