Grew up in Summit, had my first Summit Diner hamburger, at age 10, 1944. Have been back to Summit several times, never, never missed a meal at The diner. Breakfast is the best.

A piece of history that also has great diner food. My mother first heard about the attack on Pearl Harbor while having breakfast with her best friend at the Summit Diner. Fifty-plus years later, we're close to beating Covid and can finally get back to socializing with friends and neighbors (if you can get a seat) while enjoying a terrific meal. Long live the Summit.
