The food is decent but expensive. But no matter how many times I ask them to stop in the store, when I use my credit card to pay, they print the full credit card number with the expiration date. This goes against FACTA and good sense!

It was after 10 and every where was closed, except these guys at gan asia, I never heard of them, apparently they have been around for 11 years same location - 94/Amsterdam. they were open till 11pm. placed my order based on their recommendation. I thought it would be horrible because its 1030pm and they are telling me what to get - so it must be left over or something, and I expected to get my food in 2 min, because again it must be left overs. but I was hungery and I had no choice. They have a open kitchen you can see your food being made fresh right in front of you. I was amazed. it took 10 min from start to finish to get a fresh, hot, made to order, orange flavored beef and steamed veg dumplings. at 1145pm!!! even though it wasn't necessary I still left a tip for my experience. By the way the food was heavenly. will be going there more often hopefully a bit earlier. :-)

I was there last week, for the 1st time. wanted only a soup, didn't have cash- it came out to 3.25- they accepted my discover card.... wow. soup was great - loved the service went back 2 days later, got myself a sesame chicken, amazing. should definitely try!

I"m new to the neighborhood (uws) and my friends recommended this place. tried to stop by and pick up, but couldn't find it, it's a very small take out joint. so I called them. they told me give them forty-five minutes, but I got it within twenty-five minutes. there was a fifteen dollar delivery minimum for delivery, but one dish took care of that. I spent 19.50 and thought because its the upper west side I'm paying more and getting less, no my friends. I was stuffed as a horse. big portions, I got the sesame chicken and a coke. --- I wish I knew about them before, they told me they deliver everywhere, all over Manhattan even downtown and East Side. - my friends are idiots for not telling me about them earlier.
