Though the restaurant may not have a fancy appearance, the food is consistently delicious and satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the Singapore rice noodles and appreciated the owner's willingness to accommodate my custom order, making it my go-to for takeout near Penn Station.

Although the exterior may seem a bit run-down, the food at Golden City Chinese Restaurant is surprisingly delicious. The simple decor and unassuming ambiance do not detract from the tasty and satisfying dishes they serve. It may not be a fancy dining experience, but it is a reliable spot for a flavorful and filling meal.
