Al and Santillo's has been a family-owned Italian restaurant since the 1930s, serving homemade dishes like chicken parm, veal cutlet, and ravioli that taste like your Italian grandma made them. The unique bar-style pizza, friendly service, and nostalgic atmosphere create an old-school experience reminiscent of a kinder, gentler era, making it a memorable destination despite its location and parking challenges.

I love the chicken parm and ravs at Al and Santillo's, it's a local favorite that's been around for years. Hearing they're selling the business is sad news, it's a staple in our community. The food, the memories, the atmosphere - it's all a part of growing up in NJ and will be dearly missed.

I have been going to spirits Restaurant for over 70 years. We ordered our Dinners last night for the whole family. We are on the deck of my Brothers deck. We told stories about our days at this fabulous Restaurant. It hasn't change a bit since the first day my parents took me there. Yes there was no butter for your bread no coffee or tea. But who cares you can't find a better Ravioli any where. It's so very sad to see it leave us. It's like losing someone in your family. Thanks for the Memories you will not be forgotten. 💔

Been going to Spiritos for I've 50 years and have disappointed! The food is always great and the atmosphere can't be beat. It brings me back to days gone bye when the world was a nicer place. If you want that feeling again and great food, go there!

Been going to Spirito's since the 70's. Best Chicken Parm and Ravs in the US by far. (Also, best Veal Parm, but my daughter won't let me order veal anymore). Visited in January 2020 with friends since I know the restaurant and building are up for Sale. It was nice to see the restaurant packed with long wait as it reminded me how it used to be with the crowds. Many others may have had the same idea as we had of enjoying the great food one more time.

I visited Spiritos earlier this evening. I thought the antipasta we had was very good. Really enjoyed it. When it came to dinner, I had veal and peppers and meat was so tough that it tasted like beef cubes. I was upset that I paid that price for what I thought would be an excellent meal. the rest of my family had raviolis and they were so over cooked you could not even pick them up. they fell apart. When we said something to the waitress, she said in an arrogant tone, "that's how we do things around here." Not nice at all. Won't be going back there anymore.
