Ive been going to ingwersens since Scotts family opened 1960
My entire family have for many years given high praise to our hometown deli
Through many years ingwersens has passed through a few hands ultimately reopening under Bernies son scotts dedicated commitment to returning his family's deli to its original form.
Im personally overwhelmed by the beautiful updated revamped version of a truely historic local landmark business thanks to scotts vision .
Those of us who grew up with Scott's family will hopefully show our continued support to ingwersens and to the long local history it has played in enriching our lives

I just visited Ingwersen's Deli on High Mountain Rd., and like a trip down memory lane, it was the same taste of macaroni salad that Chris made so many years ago and the egg salad just as John or Bernie served it up on Whole Wheat or a Kaiser Roll. I am a life-long resident of North Haledon, now a Senior Citizen, and can say with great pride that Ingwersen's was a big part of the fabric of this town for many, many years after opening in 1960. I stood on that line each morning for coffee and a buttered roll before going to work. Kudos to Scott for re-opening a great deli and much luck and success.
