Be slow to trust this "business". Delivery is incredibly sketchy. They will set a delivery window, call you hours before the expectation that they set, not attempt delivery to the address provided, and sell your promised items out from under you when you miss a call. A way to make a quick buck? Sure. A way to guarantee repeat customers and trust in your brand? Absolutely not. Have a back-up plan because they are incredibly unreliable. 0/5 's.

Good afternoon,
Unfortunately we do not deliver to peoples houses. In this situation we called to deliver early and after 12 attempts we could not get through to anyone. We always put our customers first but in this case we could not wait. We had 5 dozen unpaid tamales and had to head back to corpus christi. We have extremely long days beginning at 2am and head back as soon as well sell out. Like I said I do not deliver to homes. And when I call and leave multiple voice-mails and no response. Yes we will have to move onto the next customer. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. But this business is not a store front its mobile and it is different. Hope you have a great day and a happy holidays. Thank you.

Would you mind posting a screenshot of your outgoing calls? Because 12 and 2 are hardly in the same ballpark and only one voicemail was left. When you set the expectation for the customer, maybe give them the whole story next time so you don't feel so "¦ put out and you don't leave a bad taste in the customer's mouth regarding your family business. If the hours are

You literally said, "I can deliver on my way out."

"Unfortunately we do not deliver to peoples houses."
Your Facebook page has a post dated 11/21/2020 @ 12:55 pm that states: "call for delivery of 5dz or more."

"In this situation we called to deliver early and after 12 attempts we could not get through to anyone."
You previously stated above that you 'do not deliver' and your very next line says you 'called to deliver' early.
I have also posted a copy of the Messenger conversation where you confirmed delivery and the time frame of 2 pm to 3 pm. You said nothing about not delivering to homes and you called one and a half hours before the scheduled delivery! That's unreasonable and unacceptable.

And if there was the possibility that you were going to deliver early, you should have let me know when I placed the order. Even on Saturday, you could have called, texted, or messaged WAY before you did. You waited until the very last minute and then bailed.

When I noticed TWO calls and ONE voice mail, I returned the call. You immediately asked if you could call me right back. Twenty-six minutes later you called me back with so many excuses. Excuses are nothing more than a reason to fail.

You stated you tried to call from Montgomery Rd. If that was true, you were actually on the way to my house. AND, you would have been to my house BEFORE you could even have made 12 calls. You were 3 (or less) minutes away! You didn't even attempt to come to my house! That's what delivery is - going to the customer's house!

"We always put our customers first but in this case we could not wait."
You did not put me first. Your 'granny' would have been ashamed of the way you handled this situation. You should be ashamed of yourself.

"We had 5 dozen unpaid tamales and had to head back to corpus christi."
Again, don't blame me. If you had followed through as promised, you could have sold out.

"We have extremely long days beginning at 2am and head back as soon as well sell out."
Don't put the burdens of the business on your customers. Your business - your responsibility.

"Like I said I do not deliver to homes."
Yes, you do! Your own website states you deliver, but does not specify delivery to businesses or homes! When you confirmed my order through Messenger you agreed to deliver to my home.

"And when I call and leave multiple voice-mails and no response. Yes we will have to move onto the next customer."
You left ONE voicemail! When all of the orders had been completed at the Walzem location, all you had to do is simply come to my house to deliver as promised. Even if it was early and I did not answer the phone, three adults were home and the front door was open. A simple honk would have gotten our attention.

"I'm sorry you had a bad experience."
No, I do not believe you are sorry. On the phone you were fast and loose with excuses, speaking very rapidly, and so loud that others in the room could hear you even though you were not on speakerphone. This situation was not my fault and you didn't even offer to make it right.

"But this business is not a store front its mobile and it is different."
Mobile = Delivery. If you're already mobile, delivery shouldn't be an issue. If you cannot abide by the rules you have, might I suggest your business put into place some very specific terms and conditions?

"Hope you have a great day and a happy holidays. Thank you. "
We will have a very Happy Holiday. We will get our tamales from a more reliable and credible business.

I am way too busy for this. I should NOT have committed to delivering during such a busy& hectic holiday season. I didn't think I had to be so specific on a situation I did not anticipate. I did not mean for this to happen
I called, no answer, I left a voice mail no response. I sold out and headed back to Corpus. I'm sorry my business doesn't feel reliable to you or credible. This never happens.. but feel free to go with another business. I have absolutely no issue with that.. Have a happy holidays.

This might sound more sincere if you had not just LAUGHED at my previous comment. You created the situation and then blamed me.
