Growing up in North Newark, I discovered two beloved spots for Italian ice, "Ting A Ling" in Newark and Jackie's in Belleville. No other ice cream compares to the homemade quality and flavors offered at these longstanding favorites. The Lemon ice, in particular, stands out as a nostalgic treat that transports me back to carefree summer days of my childhood.
