Good, old fashioned, delicious breakfast. That is what Jayson's pancake house has to offer. My son, my husband and i saw the ad for the restaurant in the island map distributed in various restaurants and establishments around the island and decided to try it a few weeks ago.I ordered the tropical pancakes. (Which is your choice of pancakes beautifully decorated with various fruits.) At my first bite, all I could even say or think was "mmmmm". My son's "A" meal and my husband's waffle also looked very good. My server, Ali, was very cheery and happy. Which is what you want in the morning. She always brought us coffee when we needed it, and brought out our meals very quick. Overall, Jayson's pancake house is one of the best places to eat on the island, and I will absolutely be back next year!

ive been coming to jasons since ive been little. Im from pa and in my 30s and i love jasons. They have these hawian and tropical pancakes that are totaly awsome. Try finding these huge portioned pancakes elsewhere.

I am floored by my experience here. At first impression, the place is clean and appealing. The server was mediocre. The food is very overpriced with no gimmick to warrant it. (at least the Sandbox in Ship Bottom has a wonderful atmosphere and menu to go with their price!) The food was terrible and the owner was worse! We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children on mother's day, yes to make it worse, this happened on mother's day. When we recieved our food, the only thing that was warm (not even hot) was my kids pancakes. All of us said our food was room temperature and some were cold. I told the waitress and said we didnt want our food recooked, just a percentage off our check. With a 4 yr old and 18 month old, we were not going to wait again :) The owner came over and told me her husband made the food and she would not be comping anything since he said he made it and it went out right away. She said she would recook our food and that was all. I told her fine, to recook mine but everyone else just ate theirs. The next time mine came out it was a bit warmer but still not hot. When she picked up my plate she commented on how my plate was warm...i wish it would have warmed my food! Anyway, she was terrible. We paid $60 for breakfast for 5 (the kids shared a meal). WHAT?!?!? for cold food and an owner who doesn't feel the customer is right...apparently ever! I would sooner eat food from the CVS then eat there again. We are here about 6 times a year and will never return!
