The owners are hands on, Chef Leggio cooks the wife is the hostess, made us feel like faimly, main dinning room is located on second level, first level is more Italian bistro style and was full for private party, stairs may be a bit much for older folks but well worth it, atmosphere is so lovely, feels like a Manhatan Restaurant with a view vaulted ceiling sky lights, candlelight tables are warm and comfortable, tables are spacious and private the food is fresh cooked and seasoned perfectly this is the best italian restaurant we have ever eaten in. Leggios is our first choice when it comes to Italian food, we love that it's a BYOB, it's not cheap, you get what you pay for and is definitely worth it, the portions were very generous, I was too full for dessert :) Service was attentive and well versed on selections. I Highly recommend.

Leggio's re-opened in North Haledon! The new address is 550 High Mountain Rd. North Haledon NJ. We are so happy the real Leggio's is back!
