Celebrating National Pizza Day 2024 with friends Adam Ginnotti and Dave Cavaliere, we enjoyed Taormina Pizzeria & Restaurant in Paterson, a family-owned establishment since 1981 known for its old-school, New York-style pizza with a thicker, chewier crust, flavorful sauce, perfectly balanced cheese, excellent pasta dishes like the chicken special with penne and broccoli, and warm hospitality from the second-generation owners, making it my favorite Italian restaurant in Paterson with consistently fresh, delicious food and friendly service.

Celebrating National Pizza Day, my friends and I visited Taormina Pizzeria & Restaurant in Paterson, a family-owned gem serving classic New York style pizza and Italian favorites since 1981. The warm welcome from the staff and the rich history shared by the second-generation Pizzaiolo added to the charm of the experience. The delicious pizza, with its unique thicker crust and perfectly seasoned toppings, left us satisfied and eager to return for more.
