We live in FL, but grew up in Bayonne. We love this deli. We plan to stop by for takeout during our trip back to NJ in Nov of 2015.

I agree with all the comments I've read about this deli. Potato salad is great and the cold cuts are baked on the premises (some of the best roast beef I've ever seen). However, it's about time the deli does a bit of a makeover. It looks pretty bad both inside and out. I think it's about time they invested a bit in the establishment itself.

Loved 5th Street Deli's potato salad from years ago when Rich and I first married and lived in Bayonne.
I can't wait to go back and buy their delicious salads again as well as rice pudding.

Hopefully all as wonderful as I remember from the '60's.

also the world's BEST potato salad. i grew up across the street and the deli-ette is like home to me. "ALL BAKING DONE ON PREMISES".

This Deli-Ette has been around in Bayonne forever and it is great. The deli meat is fresh everyday and the people who serve you are wonderful nice people. I highly recommend this deli-ette.
