The steaks are fantastic, but the rack of St. Louis ribs are beyond belief.

Cosmo has good food and it is worth the money, however he is very rude to his customers.
I was there yesterday around 945 and wanted food. His grill was closed but he was going to make me something.
After chatting briefly, i decided to pass since he was about to close and see him another time.
he told never to come to his store and not to piss him off.
i know him over 10 years, deep down he is a nice guy but needs a vacation

Great steak!!!! Cosmo was a pleasant and very nice person to me and my family. First time there and I will be a customer for as long as he is in business...

This place was horrible I never been so disappointed at a food place in a long time. The set up, people yelling in front of you as you wait to order. I ordered a T.Bone steak medium well cut three pieces off the meat it was nasty so I took it to christian and said I'm sorry but I cant eat this. He replies thatwill be $25:00.I said very kindly.But I ddidn't like it and I only cut 3 little pieces can you take off at least half of the bill he was like no real sturn and nastyn Christian said I dont do that. Okay can you subsitute french fries for onion rings because I don't like fries. No I don't do that. Obviously he ain't for his coustomers.This place really sucks. Don't listen to people that drink when you are asking about a place to eat. Clearly this isn't a good place to go. Especially if you want good food.

The food is always delicious,great prices.
What do you want more.
Some people like criticise others,that is very easy.
What they do themselves?Nothing.
Cosme is a great ,hard working man who defends his
business.
Christian's is my favorite place to eat home made
food without conservants,which make you sick.

Steaks here taste wonderful...that is so long as it is cooked to the term you asked, if it isn’t, have fun dealing the Bipolar owner Cosmo, who gets aggravated over anything and takes it out on his customers. He has absolutely ZERO customer skills. And I am sorry but the people defending him on here must be just as f'd up as he is. (p.s. there are medications available for that)

Cosmo's other pet peeve is when you order a steak to share with a friend. Boy did he yell at me for that one... isn’t this America? Don’t I reserve the right to be able to order a steak to share? Well he went on and on about how he loses money doing so...I’m sorry that is my business how? If he were a smart man he would charge a plate fee to make his money back instead of opting to yell at his customers for wanting to share a plate.

Oh and the last time I was there. I did get a little nauseated to see him handling money and then handling the meat all with bare hands and not washing them...simply wiping his hands on a dirty black apron he wears... made me wonder if I want to continue going there...

Bottom line…Cosmo needs to get the heck away from the front counter…stop being so damn cheap and hire someone with customer skills to do just that…deal with the customers. Otherwise this little restaurant (which has the potential for being a gold mine) could sink real fast.

Food is good but the owner is very rude. Don't complain to him about the food if it is dry or seams like it is precooked . Owner does not wanna listen to you about how you want your food cooked. He will talk over you no matter what. Do not go on a Friday when he is busy food is bad on busy days.

Prices are EXCELLENT!! Food is OUTSTANDING!!! Wonderful place to go and not go broke!!! Servings are more than enough for one person. Not like you get at these other high end priced restaurants. This will be my new number one place to go!!!

Been there 4 times. Steak is always on the money the way they are seasoned & grilled. Great taste and texture.Cosmo is always friendly & accommodating.Pricing & service unbelievable. Keep it up Cosmo.

Cosmo is by far the best Guy anyone could know once you get to know him he treats me like family, The food is by far the BEST, no one can touch it. All the negative comments mean nothing. I dine there at least 2-3 times a week.

I love Christinas steak house amazing protein salad amazing upscale steak for a low price!! As for all the rude comments above if you have nothing good to say don't say anything at all !!!

Great food, lousy host.
The food is really good but I felt like the owner kept "yessing" me to death when I tried telling him how I wanted my order. He interrupted me when I was trying to give precise instructions to my order. Had he let me finish talking, he would've heard me ask for no peppers on my sandwich. It was just really surprising, especially since I am a paying customer. I'll still go back for the food but hopefully the atmosphere will be more pleasant the next time around.

I have to say the food is good, but i never seen a place mess up an order so much. The owner is cool at times, can be moody other times. He never likes to write down orders properly and fails to communicate the specifics with his employees about it. For example.. I have ordered steak salad with no onions a few times already. EVERY time if i didnt watch them make it, there would have been onions on my salad. I also ordered a grilled chicken sandwich just how the menu says it is and i got grilled chicken with other stuff i didnt even mention. When i go to tell the owner, he just says "ok ok ok".. again, the food is great, but i stopped going cause the hassle to get my order right wasn't worth it every time.

The steaks are about as good as you get for more than twice the price at the top steakhouses in ny, but for less than half the price. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

And Cosmo is a very good host. Strike up a conversation with him (just not on a Friday or Saturday when he's juggling 20 orders) and you will see.

Owner is a great guy...always cheerful, and thanks you for your business, I have never seen him treat anyone poorly...food is very good, cheeseburgers are excellent, if you're not in a full steak mood. All the food is good (I have not tried the "cincinnati steak though". The grilled chicken also quite tasty...Have I mentioned that the food is very good...well, it is.

if you're looking for a basic place to have a delicious steak for a great price then this is it. You have to pick up your food at the counter when its ready so he calls (yells) you over when its done. Some ppl that left the "rude" comments are probably being a little too touchy.

Hands down!!!!!!! The Best Steak in Northern New Jersey.
No one around comes close to the taste and texture of his food. Service is also excellent!!!

The only restaurant I will order a steak at! Absolutely wonderful, the owner, Cosmo treats customers like a part of the family. I am always greeted with a 'Hi, Senora!'
My favorite place to go, hands down. BYOB and cash only, the price can't be beat and neither can the steak.

Great food, low prices and a killer steak. BYOB makes it a great place to enjoy a low priced meal. The only bad thing is they only take cash.

i have been going here for a few years now. If you want a no nonsense great steak dinner that's affordable this is the place for you.

The only negative is that you have to pay cash..no credit cards
