The food at The Oven was delicious, especially the pasta fasoli soup, eggplant parm, and cheese steak sandwiches. The service was friendly and efficient, making it my favorite pizza spot in Lavallette. The atmosphere was lively, with friendly staff and good food, creating a pleasant dining experience.

We moved to Maryland several years ago, but still vacation at the Jersey Shore. While here we go to the OVEN at least 3 times. I need my NJ pizza!

First our mozzarella sticks came out frozen, but with hot sauce. Sent that back and the mozzarella sticks came out good but the sauce was suddenly really cold. And all this took a really long time. The waitress was really slow. She would walk by us often and never stop to see how everything was. The main courses tasted okay, but took forever. It was really expensive and I waited almost ten minutes for the waitress to pick up the bill only to find out they didn't take credit cards! So, I had to pay $3 to use the ATM! What semi-fancy, expensive restaurant doesn't take credit!?! The Oven. Overall, one of my worst experiences eating out.
