Nice to see this page still up. What great memories this place had. Food was wonderful. The times were wonderful. Too bad its all gone. I believe a Lulu Lemon is now in this location. I love the brand but still prefer Marino's at that spot.

I miss this place. we would order breakfast, lunch and dinner. One of the first restaurants in NYC to have a webpage in 1996. Great food, great location corner 23 and 5th ave.

Good to see this site still up. This was a great place in an ever changing environment. From the early 80s till mid 00s Marino's rocked. Delivery guys dressing in royal blue were all over the Chelsea, Flatiron and vicinities. They did it all and introduced the upgraded style only a few place still hold today.
A great place and time in NYC .

Spent the 90s in this place. I believe Marino's started the real specialty deli trend. All freshly made foods, unlike now where most places buy pre-made and packaged. Its a shame that this generation wont know what quality at the street level is all about. Covid will probably cement that thought and great food will only be had by super wealthy and politicians. Good Luck NYC

At one time this was a fabulous place... several owners in the last 3-4 years have turned what was once a fine establishment, run by a restaurant family, into a mess. Its sad to see what the place once was and where it is now. Once voted the no 1 Specialty Food shop in NYC, with progressive menus, fabulous corporate catering staff and wonderful and efficeient personnel. Its a sad statement for our changing city...where restaurant people like the Marino's had to leave to make way for corporate junk and fast money!
