Thai food is one of my most favorite cuisines and Pawana restaurant in Englewood, NJ offers the best dishes. I also cook Thai food my self and I own 7 Thai cookbooks. I have tried several Thai restaurants around the country but Pawana is at the top of my list. The other good thing about it is that I never have to hunt down a parking spot because of its location. Besides gook food and convenient parking it is so close to the play theater that diner at Pawana's and a play has become my traditional outing. Hmm!!! that's interesting Thai girl, do you own a Thai restaurant?.

I don't understand those previous reviews. I'm from Thailand and I know what's the good Thai food. I want to tell everybody that this place prepares the worst Thai food in NJ and NY.
Don't be fooled by the people who don't know Thai food well.

One of the best thai restaurants I have been too. Panang curry to die for, crispy garlic duck, cocunut ice cream with fried bananas, green curry, green papaya salad, chicken satay and anything else you order. If you are in the mood for thai this is where you should go! And they know how to make it spicy. A must try!!!!

I live in Englewood and tried so many restaurants.........this by far is my favorite... the pad kee mow, red curry and you name it, everything here is fantabulous. If you want to go veggie, they would prepare everything vegetarian for you and would N'T even use sauce that has no meat products.... the staff is friendly.... i love coming here all the time to

My husband and I frequent this gem of a Thai restaurant hidden in the shop rite plaza of Englewood. Not only is it a very pretty restaurant, an very clean, the food is delicious! Our favorite appetizer is one not on the menu, fried spinach with a sweet/sour chicken and seafood combo. The Money Bags are also great. And so is the whole fish. Pad Thai is a favorite too. They couldn't be nicer, Pawana, the owner/chef comes out to greet us and her son and is so friendly. So is her sister waitress. There's a lovely outside space with a waterfall. and now they have jazz on the weekends. It's inexpensive ($9 - $14 entrees) and you can BYOB. If you are a Thai fan and are ever in Englewood... you must check it out! ... Find the Shop Rite and it's in that shopping plaza.

A quiet little oasis in the heart of Englewood. Wonderful food, great atmosphere. Our favorite place to eat.
