Mouthwatering Italian food at reasonable price point. Service is excellent. The specials are always great, but the regular menu is a gem as well. The best way to sum it up is that this restaurant delivers more than one would expect and makes for an enjoyable dining experience.

Everything about this charming, intimate restaurant is to be recommended: I have given it a top rating in each category, and we make a point of dining there whenever we visit New York City. It helps that we stay at The Washington Square hotel, a short, pleasant walk through the Square to Porto Bello, but it's worth the trip from anywhere in the city. You will not be disappointed.
