My boyfriend and I made a pit stop on our way back from a hike at North Dunes nature preserve, and boy, were we in for a treat! The Apple dumpling with cinnamon syrup we got from there was absolutely divine. The crust was so yummy, the apple perfectly soft, and that cinnamon syrup was the real showstopper. We'll definitely swing by again when we're in the area!
