When I walked in here for the first time last month, they were playing The Beatles. Song after song were great classic hits. The best places always turn out to be the places playing the music. Since then I've always been getting their hot sandwiches. They are incredibly delicious and everything is always fresh. What a gem.

What a great find! We were visiting NYC and found this deli around the corner from the hotel we were staying at. We were glad to find this deli for those early breakfasts before touring the city or those late night dinners. The food was really really good! Most things are homemade. If you are visitng NYC, this is a great place to eat if you don't want to spend a fortune elsewhere.

The food was good for a deli. They give big portions and the price wasn't that bad. It is NYC after all. The music was great! They play rock and roll music from elvis to bon jovi! It was a great vibe. Would definately eat there again!

This place is so filthy and overpriced!!! How on earth is this place being allowed to operate? If you look closely at the area where the food is prepared and where the hot food is kept there is crud around the edges of the counters. The people who work over the food do not wear gloves nor hats(isn't there a law?). The mop and bucket full of filthy water is always in plain view. There are filthy, tattered rags left around the counter where they prepare the sandwiches. Sometimes they handle money in between preparing foods, UGH!!!! To add insult to injury, $1.50 for a candy bar is way too much money, when a block and a half away at Duane Reade, the candy bars are bigger and cost only .99 cents. Also at Duane Reade, a 16.9 oz. can of sugar free Red Bull costs $3.79. But it costs $6.50 at Angelas! The counter space looks quite un -appealing and the atmosphere (if you can call it that) is truly not acceptable for a place that serves food in any neighborhood of any borough. I have to say it again. I don't know how this place is being allowed to operate!!!

Food sucks, service is horrible, people are dirty and they rob you when they tell you you cant pay with your credit card - you can get cash from their ATM. It was pure laziness when they claimed their credit card machine was out of paper and therefore I had to use the ATM (plus service charges) in order to pay for my food. a) it is their responsibility to make sure they have the correct supplies to run a business b) hang a sign or tell people beforehand - not when Im handing you my credit card! will NEVER eat there again before the food isnt even worth it!
