Don't come to this place. My boyfriend and I were in the neighborhood and decided to stop by last night (3/25) for a casual dinner. The place looks decent, but the food was terrible and overpriced. I got the dinner special - scallops, I don't think I had worse scallops anywhere. According to my waiter, the scallops (on the menu priced $20) were supposed to be jumbo, but they were anything but jumbo and they were overcooked with no flavor. My boyfriend got the seared tuna salad (on the menu priced $16). The tuna was overcooked and had no flavor. I never had anything more disgusting. The only enjoyable part of the dinner was the pomme frites, which could have been better, but compared to everything else we were eating, the fries were good. We weren't going back, but I don't normally spread bad word-of-mouth, until we got the check. The scallops I got magically became $23 on the bill and the $16 salad became $22!! I looked on another menu and somehow that menu had the salad as $22, so I figured menus were wrong. I saw the manager and told him that the menus we had priced the tuna salad at $16. He was so rude that he didn't bother to even look at me, he said to me that it was impossible and that I was wrong. I was trying to tell him something and he just brushed me off without an apology. I was still talking when he walked away from me. When he came back I tried to tell him again about the prices and he brushed me off again. He was the rudest person I've ever come across at a restaurant. My boyfriend and I just paid the bill and vowed to NEVER go back and I decided to share my story with as many people as possible. DON'T waste your time or money here. Go down the street to the cuban cafe (great drinks and food) or blue moon for mexican or vynl at 15th and 8th ave.
