The salty breeze mingled with the scent of fresh seafood as I stepped inside, greeted by a warm and knowledgeable woman who patiently guided me through their selection despite the seasonal closures. That evening, the feast of oysters, scallops, and soft-shell lobsters we prepared at our cabin was nothing short of extraordinary, each bite a taste of the ocean's purest bounty. Watching the sun dip below the horizon from the waterfront, I felt grateful for this authentic experience that brought the essence of Maine right to our table.
