What can I say about Lindy's, a world famous eatery of the Broadway stars? We went proir to seeing a show and the place was mobbed. I saw them send a party upstairs and so rather than wait for what looked like at least an hour, I grabbed my family, 5 of us, and led them up the stairs where I told the host we had been sent up and we were seated immediately. We were served beverages instatly as well by the super attentive staff, and our order was taken promptly thus insuring we would not be "evicted" for "line jumping". This place has probably one of the nicest wait staffs in all of NYC and the service was A plus from start to finish. The atmosphere is "old Broadway" with the caricatures of every star who ever played the Great White Way gracing the walls. Of course the food was excellent and the Cheese Cake for desert was as advertised, that is, superb. Next time he see a show I'm sure we'll stop in here first.
