Awesome decor, traditional old world american a mbiance, not seen in many other restaurants. Comfortable, sometimes noisy (it is a travern), lots of drink/beer choices. Outstanding cuisine, yet pricey for the average individual. Worth every dollar if you order correctly. Great, friendly service, but has a tendeceny to dissappear when they get extremely busy (which they do-which in a way speaks volumes about the place!). The chefs are very talented, yet the menu seems more Asian then American, and I would have expected a more "traditionally styled American" menu, focusing on more of a blend with it's decor. I very highly rate this place, and have visited several times myself. I plan on keeping this restaurant a secret, as it is so close to Byrant Park, and the subway is on the corner. A gem in the rough!! 3 1/2 stars
